AnoXcel is a database of the conceptually translated proteome of
Anopheles gambiae.
It is based on an Excel spreadsheet that was developed by Dr. Jose
Ribeiro (NIAID), who's made it available to the research community through
AnoBase. Dr. Ribeiro is constantly updating and upgrading Ano-Xcel, which you
can presently access either directly or through a download of the files required
to your computer (see below).
AnoBase is in the proccess of optimizing the web interface of AnoXcel and its
search capabilities, and therefore it welcomes any suggestions in this matter.
There are 3 different ways to access AnoXcel
- Use AnoXcel within AnoBase.
Nothing has to be downloaded but internet connection is required.
- Download only the main spreadsheet to your computer and use the links
from AnoBase. Internet connection is required while accessing the data.
